Observations

Well it’s been about four days here in this beautiful city. It’s a great, wonderful place. Very hot, but great. The first day was mainly touring and the other three we class. I will be noting a few observations here:

• Here there are no paper towels. Instead of paper towels they use tissues for everything. No paper towels, no napkins just tissues.

• There are dogs and cats everywhere. They look much skinnier than in the US.

• The women wear long black dresses called Abaya. The men wear long white dresses called Thawb.

• It’s a constant 104 degrees every single day.
