Next stop: Peru!!!

I’m finally going to Peru. It been about 10 years in the making. I have wanted to do this trip for so long. I first saw the instagram for the travel group I am going with in 2016. Around that time was also when I decided I wanted to do all seven wonders of the world before 40. I’ve already checked one off and I am excited to check off one more. 

This trip will definitely be pushing me outside of my comfort zone as well. If I am honest I had wanted to lose like a ridiculous amount of weight to make my experience more comfortable as well as pure vanity reasons. But that didn’t happen and I’m going to to keep going. My goal is to go into the truth with a positive attitude and taking on whatever the “universe” has planned for me.


To keep with tradition, here are some facts about Peru:

  • Machu Picchu is one off the 7 Wonders of the World

  • Peru’s national language is Spanish

  • Peru’s currency is the Sol

  • Peru has Rainbow Mountain which is over 17,000 feet above sea level.

  • Because of how high above sea level the country is you have to drink lots of water.
